THE CASE FOR THIS PLACE
A folded white-stone villa framing a protected inlet through rooms of deep blue shadow.
A home read through time, climate and daily ritual.
The residence
Azul Fold House is cut into a limestone promontory above Cala Morell. Its roofline folds with the terrain, creating a series of shaded terraces rather than one dominant façade and keeping the house largely invisible from the approach.
The main level moves between white stone, cobalt ceramic and deep shadow. Sliding walls allow the kitchen, dining room and sea salon to become one long summer room, while a protected courtyard provides an alternative setting when the northern wind rises.
Five bedroom suites are distributed on two levels, each with a private outdoor room. The principal suite occupies the eastern edge, where a stone bath and small writing room face the first light over the inlet.
A saltwater pool follows the cliff line without imitating it. Below, a stepped path reaches a private swimming platform and kayak store. Mechanical systems and service access are concealed within the excavated rear of the house.
